Dear Acting Director McGettigan,

It is my understanding that many federal government in-person services remain unavailable as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic response. These services include those administered by the Social Security Administration, passport offices, the Internal Revenue Service, Veterans Affairs, and other government agencies. In fact, the current operating status of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is "Open with maximum telework."

It is high time to have federal employees return to their jobs and serve the taxpayers that employ them. Please direct your office to change the OPM operational status to open and direct federal employees to return to their jobs in-person.

I look forward to seeing these services available to my constituents again soon.
